3 Social Media Tools to Save Time

Social Media ToolsSocial media takes up a lot of time, but there are several excellent tools out there that will make your life a bit easier.  We suggest checking out these tools if you find social media marketing to be overwhelming and time-consuming. You may be able to save yourself a few hours each week while helping to increase your presence across your favourite social media networks.

Hootsuite

HootSuite is used daily at Sharpmonkeys. For a small cost each month it makes it possible to manage several networks for multiple businesses. HootSuite is perfect for scheduling content to be shared across your profiles and it also makes it easy to analyse your marketing efforts. Hootsuite does have a free plan and it is constantly updating to ensure all the changes to your most used networks are accounted for. However, the dashboard and some of the tools are quite limited and can be frustrating to use at times.

Hootsuite even allows for scheduling to Instagram, providing you have a business page. Simply link your Instagram to your Facebook business page and voila, you can schedule your incredible photos to publish on Instagram without having to open your phone.

 Buffer

When working on social media it’s worthwhile to get involved with others, to converse and support one another. Buffer makes it very easy to show your appreciation and get involved by retweeting with or without your own added comments. You can also use Buffer to schedule your usual content, but we like to use it solely for retweets to show involvement in the community.

Buffer is very easy to use and there is a free plan so you can try it out and see how it works for you. You won’t find great analysis tools but you will find a pleasing UI and a system that everyone can get to grips with.

Tailwind

If Pinterest is your thing we recommend using Tailwind, an official partner of Pinterest. Use Tailwind to create your pin boards, upload in bulk and schedule uploads. The tool will even help you to work out the best times for posting to help increase engagement.  There is a free trial so you can try before you buy.
