As digital marketers, we’re over the moon about the latest feature to be rolled out by Instagram. After an early test, the social network has now made it possible to switch between multiple accounts, quickly and easily. To make use of the feature all you need to do is have the latest update that was released in early February and:
- Go to your Instagram Profile
- Click settings on the top right of the screen
- Add account and enter the login credentials for the additional account
- Enjoy swapping between the too
You’ll get push notifications for all of your accounts, even if you’re not logged into them, which is great news for anyone who wants to respond quickly to comments, follows and so on. You can turn the notifications off for each individual account if you don’t want to be distracted by Instagram throughout the day and night.
The new multiple account feature has been warmly received by those who have different accounts, such as bloggers and businesses that make use of the social network. It’s also fantastic news for us as it makes it a lot easier for us to manage the Instagram accounts of our client. We’re thrilled that we no longer have to go through the slow process of signing out and logging in each and every time we need to add content or monitor the accounts for activity and engagement.
